In a report released on Thursday, the US Department of Justice special counsel looking into Joe Biden’s handling of classified materials during his vice-presidency concluded that the now-US president “willfully” held and communicated sensitive information, but he will not face criminal charges. Although Biden expressed his satisfaction, his staff took issue with “inappropriate” remarks and “investigative excess” in the report.
