Launch of ISRO’s Live Updates: This Saturday, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will launch INSAT-3DS, an advanced meteorological satellite. The ministry of Earth Sciences is the sole funder of this project, GSLV-F14/INSAT-3DS, which is meant to replace the Third Generation Meteorological Satellite. Weather forecasting abilities are enhanced by INSAT-3DS, which is designed for sophisticated meteorological observations. With its state-of-the-art payloads—a 6-channel Imager and a 19-channel Sounder, among others—INSAT-3DS guarantees excellent meteorological data collection.
