Donald Trump was hit with a $355 million (more than ₹2900 crore) fine by a New York judge on Friday for his alleged years-long plot to deceive banks and other parties with financial statements that exaggerated the former President’s wealth. For three years, Mr. Trump was also prohibited from holding any position as an officer or director of a company based in New York. But the judge reversed a previous decision that would have forced the dissolution of the former President’s businesses.
