As of my last update in January 2022, Albertsons operates over 2,200 locations across the United States. This includes its various banners such as Albertsons, Safeway, Vons, Jewel-Osco, Shaw’s, Acme, Tom Thumb, Randalls, United Supermarkets, Pavilions, Star Market, Haggen, and Carrs. The exact number may vary due to expansions, closures, or acquisitions since then. However, Albertsons remains one of the largest grocery retailers in the country with a widespread presence in numerous communities.
