Bill Belichick left the New England Patriots after 24 seasons and six Super Bowl titles in Foxborough, Massachusetts, but he was unable to find another head coaching position.
Belichick conducted two interviews with the Atlanta Falcons. Rob Gronkowski, a former player for the Patriots, believed that the Falcons would have been the ideal destination for Belichick and the team’s next step toward success in Atlanta. But Raheem Morris was selected by the Falcons instead.
